1. Information Collection

Recargadoble collects personal information necessary to provide our services, including: account credentials (name, email, phone number), transaction details (payment information, recipient data), device information (IP address, browser type, operating system), and usage analytics. When you register, you provide your phone number and/or email address which we will use to send you OTP (One-Time Password) verification codes as part of our passwordless authentication system. When you make a purchase, we collect billing details (billing name, billing postal or ZIP code, and country) used to process your payment and to determine any applicable taxes, along with a snapshot of payment method metadata such as the card brand and the last four digits of your card; we never store your full card number, which is handled directly by our PCI-DSS compliant payment processors such as Stripe and PayPal. To deliver a recharge we also collect the recipient's mobile number, mobile carrier, and destination country, and for security and fraud prevention we process device identifiers and fingerprints. When identity verification is required, we also collect identity verification information such as government-issued identification documents, a facial image or selfie, and date of birth, which may be processed on our behalf by third-party identity verification providers such as Stripe Identity, or reviewed manually by our team in certain cases. Information is collected directly from users during registration and transactions, automatically through cookies and tracking technologies, and from third-party sources such as payment processors and social login providers. We also collect your country and, for U.S. residents, your state of residence, which you provide at checkout and which we use to determine any applicable taxes.

2. Purpose of Processing

We process your data to: fulfill recharge transactions and deliver services, maintain and secure user accounts by sending OTP verification codes via SMS and/or email for authentication, process payments and prevent fraud, provide customer support and respond to inquiries, send transactional notifications and service updates, comply with legal obligations and regulatory requirements, and improve our platform through analytics and user experience optimization. OTP code delivery is an essential transactional communication that cannot be disabled, as it is necessary for secure account access.

3. Legal Basis

Our processing activities are based on: contractual necessity to perform services you request, legitimate business interests in fraud prevention and service improvement, compliance with legal obligations including financial regulations and tax laws, and your explicit consent for marketing communications and optional features.

4. Data Sharing

We share your information with: telecommunications carriers and operators to complete recharge transactions, payment processors for transaction processing, cloud service providers for data storage and infrastructure, analytics partners for service improvement, identity verification providers (such as Stripe Identity) to confirm your identity, tax authorities where required by law, and law enforcement or regulatory authorities when legally required. We do not sell your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

5. International Transfers

Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your jurisdiction where our service providers operate. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including standard contractual clauses and adequacy decisions, to protect your information during international transfers in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including: encryption of data in transit and at rest using TLS/SSL protocols, secure payment processing compliant with PCI-DSS standards, regular security audits and vulnerability assessments, access controls and authentication mechanisms, and employee training on data protection practices. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide services and comply with legal obligations. Account information is retained while your account is active and for 7 years after closure to meet financial record-keeping requirements. Transaction records are retained for 10 years to comply with tax and anti-money laundering regulations. Marketing data is retained until you withdraw consent. You may request deletion of your data subject to legal retention requirements.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data, request deletion of your data (right to erasure), object to or restrict certain processing activities, receive your data in a portable format (data portability), withdraw consent for processing based on consent, and lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@recargadoble.com.

9. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to: maintain user sessions and authentication, remember user preferences and settings, analyze platform usage and performance, deliver personalized content and recommendations, and enable third-party features such as social media integration. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings, though disabling certain cookies may limit platform functionality.

10. Third-Party Services

Our platform integrates with third-party services including OAuth providers (Google, Apple, Facebook), payment gateways, and analytics tools. These providers have their own privacy policies governing their collection and use of information. We recommend reviewing their privacy policies. Recargadoble is not responsible for third-party privacy practices.

11. Children's Privacy

Our services are not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we discover that we have inadvertently collected data from a child, we will delete it promptly. Parents or guardians who believe their child has provided information to us should contact privacy@recargadoble.com immediately.

12. Marketing Communications

With your consent, we may send promotional emails, SMS messages, or push notifications about special offers, new features, and service updates. You can opt out of marketing communications at any time by clicking unsubscribe links in emails, adjusting notification settings in your account, or contacting support. Opting out of marketing does not affect transactional communications necessary for service delivery.

13. Automated Decision-Making

We use automated systems for fraud detection, risk assessment, and transaction approval. These systems analyze transaction patterns, device fingerprints, and behavioral data to protect users and comply with regulations. If a transaction is declined due to automated screening, you may contact support to request manual review.

14. Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or service offerings. Material changes will be communicated via email or prominent platform notice at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of services after policy changes constitutes acceptance. We encourage periodic review of this policy.
